Vote cast for the S2000 CR. I may not be a fan of the way the aerodynamic aids look, but they're functional. I love the purity of the car, and I'm pretty sure it's the closest Honda's going to get to making a Type-R version. The Nismo runs it close, but it's a lot heavier and I'd rather have a convertible. I also can't deny the old-school appeal of the Shelby. The Evo and STi are great cars, but not my choice in this company.

Eheh...hehehehe.
![]() I really love what Mitsubishi's done with the Evo. Talking to a member here revealed to me that the Evo IX was a shitload of fun to drive but terrible to live with day to day. It sounds like Mitsubishi has really fixed that this time around. The Evo X is something that every review so far has said can be driven day in and day out, and then thrashed on the track on weekends, which is what a Boy Racer should be. Clearly this is a step away from the enthusiast car that was the Evo VIII/IX, but I think it's a step in the right direction for expanding the group of buyers. Furthermore, certain reviews have posted faster laptimes than the WRX STI with both the GSR model and the MR model. I truly think this is going to be one hell of an awesome car. ![]() |

I don't know what it is, maybe there is something wrong with me mentally...but the EVO X just doesn't do anything for me. The Nismo and S2000 CR are nice, but again, don't stir anything inside me. And the mustang looks old and clunky in this crowd.
The STi on the other hand, I think is my ideal sport's car...you might even say it is my current "realistic dream car". I think the only car sold on the planet today, which could be in this category, and give the STi a run for it's money IMO is the JDM spec Civic Type R...I seriously hope we get some version of that car over here. |

I vote for the EVO X, I think the s2000 CR and Nismo 350z are kind of a waste of money. Why spend the extra money on mods I probably wouldnt want (body kit) and just buy a base model and mod only what I like. as for the mustang, it comes in a distant second, but second nonetheless. |

a little 2 door, 200hp hatch? your crazy, no way are they in the same power/price range. Tsk, tsk. I thought you knew your JDM Goota. The JDM CTR is a sedan now, and apparently absolutely mind-blowing to drive. EVO rated it higher the Gallardo Superleggera in their COTY special. In fact, I think it finished sixth overall after behind the 997 GT3 RS, 430 Scuderia, R8, CLK Black, and the M3. Not a bad set of cars to lose to at all...especially if you're a Civic. Even more impressive when you consider it beat out (in no particular order) the Aston DBS, Lotus 2-Eleven, Gallardo Superleggera, 350Z, Vauxhall VXR8, and the Mini Cooper S JCW. |

I went for the STI too. I was really pulling toward the Shelby (it's supposed to be the best Mustang ever made pretty much, or at least in the top 3) but the STI is just so damned sexy.

Fuck...I just spent 5 minutes staring at the STi...I have to quit...or I might go out and do something stupid, like try to buy one, bankrupting me.
