Perodua MyVi, Another Malaysian entry Options

So this is another small car from Malaysia. Perodua, which is famous for their small cars in Malaysia, launched the MyVi to replace the aging Perodua Kelisa (James May likes the Kelisa). MyVi, which stands for "My Vision", was success in among the South East Asian countries and it became one of the most abundant car in my neighborhood. Based on the second generation Daihatsu Sirion/Boon, the MyVi is also similar in design as the Toyota Passo. Sorry about the bad interior shots, I got it from the local forums.

Here's the specs from Wiki:

* Engine: EJ-VE (1.0 - Water-Cooled, 4-Cycle, In-line 3-cylinder), and K3-VE (1.3 - Water-Cooled, 4-Cycle, In-line 4-cylinder); DVVT
* Total displacement: 989 cc, and 1298 cc.
* Max. output (DIN): 43 kW (58 hp) / 6000 rpm, 64 kW (86 hp) / 6000 rpm
* Max. torque (DIN): 88 N·m (65 ft·lbf) / 3600 rpm, 116 N·m (86 ft·lbf) / 3200 rpm
* Fuel system: EFI
* Fuel tank capacity: 40 Litres.

The MyVi is currently my favourite Malaysian car to date, and my parents are going to buy one as a replacement for my mum's old Nissan.

If it's based on the Sirion, it's probably a damn good sub-compact...doesn't make it cool though.

It's actually built pretty well, and fairly competent dynamically.
