One for Moe.

I think I just came all over my screen. Unquestionably the sexiest car to have been made since the E-Type ceased production.

Holy shitballs, I saw this sucker just standing there, all open n stuff...

Oh, no wait. My bad. That's my house biggrin.gif

For real though. These are long overdue.

The first:

Got out the phone too late here. But in front of that Merc E is a new X3 and in front of that is a red car, and in front of that is a Merc CLK 63AMG Black Series. Really, it's there. Best find I've ever had.

Again, too late. Nothing special though.

Walked in to an undergound garage today, and saw this, and was pretty stoked, as it's only the 4th new Royce I've ever seen in SA.

Then I turned around the corner, and saw this:

Bad pic, but you can see the cars.

I'm not mad about Ferraris but this thing is SICK!! 599 GTO or GTFO!!!

That's all folks!

That's a regular 599 with a black roof and a stripe. The GTO is much more aggressive looking than that (I've seen a couple around). I'm usually too lazy to upload sighting photos, but I really should start. There are shit loads of nice cars here.

I can't get much details on how it drives because it's not my friend's car, it's HIS friend that acquired it. I don't think my friend got a chance to drive it, yet. But it's definitely a rarity, and possibly the most interesting production hatchback ever.

I'm wondering how he can register this thing in California...

I'll definitely make mention of the DS boners that happened here from this sighting.. lol =)

My guess is show and display, with the historical significance being the tiny number produced, and the even smaller number (1?) of them in the US.

Thank Bill Gates for that law . . . he fought for decades to driver his 959 in the US.

Not sure. Like Leif said, this probably will get registered as a show car mostly due to the fact that no US version of it exists, and that the amount produced makes it unlikely to be abundant in other countries. California is one of the most strict emissions states, as well as its near impossibility to legally register gray market vehicles. Most of the cars that aren't allowed here are usually illegally registered, and successful registration does not equate to legal registration.

Mmmmmm C4S. My favourite 996.

I'm still disappointed there was no turbo-look 997.
