^So either the Altima is a company car or you're a hypocrite? ![]() yeah the Altima is a company car, which I don't even have anymore, I've got something else now. And it does suck that it was FWD... the torque steer was downright scary at times. Especially since mine was a port damaged mis-spec'd vehicle. When I was ordering the car, there was a steel shortage, so cars were taking 4-5 months to from build to delivery, so I took whatever was ready. Mine was a base 3.5SE with no ABS, traction, a 5 speed and summer tires... scary to say the least. Regarding the TL, its in the same segment as many other RWD entry lux cars, so RWD for it would make competitive sense. But considering its a shared platform, the best we could hope for is retro-fitted SH-AWD. My poor Mercedes is on the way out too... 246,000 miles and over $8,000 in repairs in 2007 haha ! Here is a pic of her, sorry for getting "off topic" ![]() |

^ That's a pretty sweet Merc, you should post in the User's Rides section. What'd you get instead of the Altima?
As for the RL, while the pre-facelift was a fairly handsome car, it was also extremely boring. I think a car in that market segment needs to be a lot more stylish to succeed. The GS/5/A6/M/E/9-5/STS are a pretty stylish bunch. |
