I don't really think it deserves it. Throw enough money at a car and you can make it as fast as you want. Throw even more money at it and you can smooth out the ragged edges. A few years from now, someone will build another car that's 20% more powerful than a Veyron and 10mph faster, and all of a sudden nobody will give a hoot about the Veyron anymore.

At the end of the day, the Veyron is a plaything for Jay Leno and Saudi princes, nothing more.

That's why I went for the RS4 in the overall vote (well, not the part about it being beaten anytime soon...I kinda doubt that's about to happen, even if it is physically possible). But it deservedly won two categories (exotic and most significant) and...well...it's not much of a stretch to see it as COTY.
