![]() The C4 WRC made its debut at the 2007 Monaco rally where it came first 1-2... a sign of things to come. This also marked Citroen's full manufacturer return to the WRC after a slight sabbatical. With Loeb at the helm the C4 WRC is proving to be just as good-- if not better than Citroen's previous competitor, the Xsara, which still competes to this day in the hands of privateers. ![]() Race Stats Drivers (Driver / Navigator) Sebastien Loeb / Daniel Elena Daniel Sordo / Marc Marti Rallies 34 (as of 2009 Rally Cyprus) Wins 22 (as of 2009 Rally Cyprus) Manufacturer Champion Titles 1 (2008) ![]() Technical Specifications Engine 1998cc turbocharged I4 320bhp @ 5500rpm Transmission 6-spd sequential Weight 1230kg (minimum allowed by regulations) Dimensions L: 4274mm W: 1800mm Wheelbase: 2608mm NOTE: This was posted on March 20th, 2009. Frozen.
Too bad Citroen don't follow Ford's example and bring out a production C4 WRC so we could all drive around pretending to be Loeb. |
