I know some of you were pro-Apple and others were anti-Apple, but there is no denying we lost a true innovator for the tech world. RIP Steve Jobs, I am sure your legacy will always be remembered and you will always be remembered as the man who saved and created Apple.

At first I thought it was some sort of hoax when I saw the news spreading around in Facebook but after I saw Apple's homepage it struck me. RIP Steve Jobs.

My god, this is like the end of American History X. Right when I start seeing the light and giving credit where it's due, this happens. sad.gif

I was offered the chance yesterday to use a friend's company iPhone 4S for two weeks starting October 14th because he wants me to see what actually using one day-to-day is like, and I accepted his offer.

All day today I was thinking about how Apple was the driving force behind my getting into the technology world that is now my life... and then this happens.

This is really too sad for words, even if it was known to be coming.

I'm going to go code.

RIP Steve. For all that is wrong with Apple's business tactics, there is no denying the fact that they put out more top notch and innovative products than any other company in the industry.
Also, we can't forget about Pixar and all the help Steve provided to make sure it was a success.

I am posting this from my still functioning 6 yr old Mac Powerbook.

Steve Jobs didn't do anything as mundane as give the people what they want.

He had the vision to offer something that they hadn't even dreamed of...

and they bought it.

And that was the mark of his greatness thumbs_up.gif
