A list of some Formula 1 related websites. Feel free to post ones I missed in the thread. Try and keep it on topic. If the thread gets too big I'll just split the other posts off into a separate thread.

News & Columns

Autosport.com
http://www.autosport.com
A very, very, very good site. Very objective, neutral, and unbiased in their news. Obviously, the column sections are of differing opinions but the vast majority of times the columinst are very objective and unbiased as well. NOTE: Subscription required to access the columns and features. NEWS IS FREE.

Grandprix.com
http://www.grandprix.com
A news site with one of the biggest grand prix encyclopedias on the internet. Race reports right to the very first F1 grand prix in 1950 to present time.

GPUpdate.net
http://f1.gpupdate.net/en/
A decent general F1 news site. Tends to carry some minor stories which the larger sites (i.e. autosport) won't carry.

Formula1.com
http://www.formula1.com/
F1's official website. Has a store, its own features, and interviews with drivers. Highlight is the Hall of Fame which has a biography on every single F1 world champion to date.

F1-Live.com
http://en.f1-live.com/f1/en/index.shtml
Good for News Updates, Live Timings, Standings, Calendar, General Videos and Team/Driver Information.

BBC F1
http://www.bbc.co.uk/formula1
The new BBC Formula 1 site launched in conjunction with their coverage on British TV. You can get live video feeds of Qualifying and the Race (and I think Practice sessions) (UK ONLY). Some other interesting features like Martin Brundle's blog and Darren Heath's (F1 Photographer) Big Picture.

Blogs

James Allen on F1
http://www.jamesallenonf1.com/
Former ITV commentator. Now, you may have HATED James Allen the commentator but the reality is that he was originally a journalist thrust into that role. He's MUCH BETTER in word form and he actually blogs directly from the grand prix as well. Definitely worth a read for his insights and behind the scenes look.

F1Fanatic.co.uk
http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/
Very in depth articles and analysis of each Grand Prix, images, previews, videos, live blogs. Surprised it has gone this long undiscovered.

If you were going to put any single one of these into your RSS feed reader, which would it be for the most comprehensive coverage?

A while ago someone said there was a link to the world feed on the internet. Anyone still have that?

Hi I found a really good one!

www.f1tweets.com

Its like a site where they get all the F1 tweets from the drivers and teams all in one place.

It updates all the time and its really useful when there's some gossip going on smile.gif

So it's complete, with the Infiniti G35 and Porsche 911 GT3/GT3 RS taking the honors for cars of the year and the Audi Q7 taking the honors for truck/SUV of the year. It's been fun, next year it should be even better organized I hope.
