lol, the owner's manual is in the trunk? because that makes as much sense as having a deck in your glovebox.

It hardly needs a manual. Pretty much self-explanatory - even the center console:

Btw, the AstonMartin golfing umbrella (talk about typically English!) mounted in the boot of mine was a CHF430.00 = $425.00 option too.

I like the interior, it's got an old-world kind of feel to it. You know, looking at that interior, that this could only be an Aston or a Jag. Not a fan of that wheel either, looks like typical Ford parts-bin garbage that they've tried to unsuccessfully cover up.

I remember seeing a car, I think it was a Rolls, that in the door jamb was a round button. Pressing it would cause an umbrella to come out of it. Pretty sweet.

Yep, the Rolls Royce Phantom.

Makes more sense than the trunk/boot.

I keep my owner's manual in the trunk, next to the spare tire. VW has a slot in the glovebox for it but the owner's manual got bigger between 2002 and 2004 and it doesn't fit there X.gif

That wasn't a listed factory option for the DB7 Vantage – though with Aston Martin, pretty much anything is possible – for a price...

Mine does have the heated front screen though – which is useful.

^^^I think you'd have to add a zero to that sum.

In 2000, the asking price for the optional first aid kit was CHF 650.00

I mean, what does it comprise? Your own nurse?! biggrin.gif

You know, it's a fantastic looking car. I really do like it.

But I hate to be the one saying it bluntly- the interior leaves too much to be desired for a car of this caliber, IMO.

The way I look at it- it appears as an interior that could be found in a 99' ford contour (mondeo) but covered in excessive wood and leather. Even the steering wheel, while an expensive option and somewhat 'sportier', looks completely out of place.

Car didn't come with one. From the factory. If an R32 owner really wanted one, they could order a GTI manual with a little add-on about 4Motion and the VR6.

I don't think that exists either, lol. Whenever I go to the dealership, the "Make/Model/Trim/Options" section of the bill/work receipt always says the following, and apparently the associated service manual for anything to do with the parts that aren't GTI-related is that of the A3 3.2L afaik... anyway:

Year: 2008
Make: Volkswagen
Model: GTI
Trim: n/a
Options:
- 2.0T FSI Delete
- 4Motion
- 3.2 VR6

... I shit you not. VWoA identifies my car as a GTI with an engine and AWD as options.
