1987 SAUBER MERCEDES C9

HISTORY
The Sauber Mercedes C9 was a Group C prototype race car introduced in 1987 as a continuation of the partnership between Sauber as a constructor and Mercedes-Benz as an engine builder for the World Sportscar Championship. The C9 would be replaced by the Mercedes-Benz C11 for 1990. It won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1989.
The Maximum Speed it achieved was over 245mph on the Mulsanne Straight before they added two chicanes.
