Lol, $500 for a plastic bubble.

It's called the car bag. I have a friend who has a restored 1953 Chevy BelAir that he keeps in a "car bag" in his garage over the winter to protect it.

If you are going to spend $$$$$$$$$$ on a car, why not spend the extra $500 adnd preserve it?
DakianDelomast
Because a car cover is 1/5th as much and protects the same?
DaGonz
The bag hermetically seals the car. A cover can allow "critters" to enter.
The garage my friend stores his BelAir in is a separate structure in the rear of his property. When he first bought the BelAir and before restoration, he placed in in the garage with just a cover. In the spring, he found a family of mice had made a home in the rear seat cushion area!

My question is, why is there a tag on the car bubble telling everyone how much it cost?

So they can buy the bubble themselves!

Of our four cars currently restored, we have no bubbles to keep them in despite their age. rolleyes.gif
