What does every one think? The only cool Nissan currantly in production? I think so! cool.gif

2003 Nissan 350Z
The 2003 Nissan 350Z provides dedicated performance, hugging the road, and offering steering capabilities that will please even the most demanding of drivers. Powerful and attractive, this two-door hatchback will soon be available in a convertible version as well.

Available Models
The 2003 Nissan 350Z is available in the following models: Base, Enthusiast, Touring, Performance, and Track. All are two-door hatchbacks. The Base, Performance, and Track models are available with 6-speed manual transmission only, while the Enthusiast and Touring models can be purchased with a 5-speed automatic transmission that comes with a manual shift gate.

Interior Features
The standard interior features available on all 2003 Nissan 350Z models include bucket seats, remote keyless entry, power door locks, mirrors, and windows, air conditioning with automatic climate control, and an outside temperature indicator. Other standard features are a trip computer, a tachometer, a digital clock, power steering, and a tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel.

The Enthusiast, Touring, Performance, and Track models also include cruise control, and illuminated visor mirrors as standard. On the Touring, Performance, and Track models, leather upholstery is standard, as is a 4-way power driver seat, heated seats, and a Bose AM/FM/cassette with in-dash 6-disc CD changer.

Exterior Features
All 2003 Nissan 350Z models ride on alloy wheels. The Base, Enthusiast, and Touring automatic models have their wheels fitted with 17-inch performance tires, while the Touring manual, Performance, and Track models sport 18-inch performance tires. All models except the Base model come equipped with xenon headlights. A rear spoiler is a standard feature on the Track model.

Performance
This sports car houses a 3.5-litre V6 engine which does 287 hp at 6200 rpm, and 274 lbs-ft of torque at 4800 rpm. Capable of 0-60 mph in less than six seconds, the Nissan 350Z has a 6-speed manual transmission that responds wonderfully. Then theres the NISMO version, need I say more?
fallon
the Nismo version is certainly cool. In all its a good rig. It's got nice performance, nice looks and a decent price tag.

That said however, I prefer the 300zx over this

looks like a bathtub ... never liked it

Boring engine, Fatty body, and a giant sub behind your back. Uncool.
bankE46
having driven one like a maniac, frozen.
clarkma5
Uncool because it's one of the many cars that ricer fanboys love. Not to mention it's pretty ugly and has a bad interior, as well as an uninspiring engine (VQ, bleh)

Are you calling me a ricer fanboy? laugh.gif 350Z IS cool, however I guess you have to have driven or at least been in one to make a good assesment. Make a lightweight road legal race car version (GT3 RS Style,) with a twin turbo V8 or something, like the NISMO JGTC race car. (One of the many cars I wish exsisted.)
mogulmonster
I like it. It's not frozen, IMO, because the performance leaves something to be desired. Anyway, it's the only Nissan I would drive.

Frozen.

my neighbor has one and its purple and it has these ugly ass chrome wheels that alone makes me despise this car , but it is an improvement on the 300zx so a better already bad car
White RSX
Its not twin turbo.

...Yet?

Well you can always dream can't you...I mean, how cool would that be?

have you ever driven it?
clarkma5
Noooooo. Does it really matter that much? And then again, would I really be THAT impressed? Who knows? A $75k Jag left a bad taste in my mouth, after all... *shrug*

well its hard to call an engine boring having never employed its use... i think its folly to totally discount cars without driving, or at least being driven in one. especially just because its a fanboy idol car. then you've got just become an inverse fanboy. tard.gif
clarkma5
Well, I HAVE driven cars with the VQ engine. Just not a 350Z.

So, notice I'm saying it's uncool based on what I have experience with..interior feel, the styling, the attributes of other engines in that SERIES. These are all things I've experienced first hand. No folly in basing judgements on these experiences, eh?

i suppose it isnt complete folly, however, on the matter of the engine, its all relative between cars. a 30hp engine is pretty unimpressive in a 2 speed 3000lb car, but it hauls some serious ass in a go-kart! ok, so maybe thats a little extreme, but relativity is key, because the 350 engine sits in some pretty cushy cars, thus dulling the experience.

Wow only sudden impulses happen when i see a nissan. Watch out.

I really dont like the car, my friend Tommy has one and its really plasticky on the inside, and it has useless features. i rally hate how the headlights look like a clear set of tallights flipped. i did drive his though, it gets up to speed really good!

For someone who likes VW's you should know that Golf's are one Britain's Ricers No.1 choices. That said I still like Golf's btw.

350Z is one of my favourite cars of all time, purely on looks, I love it, but I think the looks are quite different and can understand why people wouldn't like it.
clarkma5
Golfs don't get riced in the states, tune...hell, there aren't even that many around, stock or not.

And I'm not saying the 350Z is a ricer car...it's just a car that all ricers look up to. Completely different concept.
Benny
Cool because its awsome, and the 05 has more power but i prefer the G35 Coupe with aero package and brembo's in Black.. drool drool drool

Eh? Dakian I don't see a Shelby Cobra thread on the cool wall? It says it's allowed in the FAQ so what's wrong?
