Full Version: Monteverdi Hai
Dieselstation Car Forums > The Cool Wall > Legacy Cool Wall > Frozen
The Monteverdi Hai is a kind of mythical supercar. Few people have ever seen one. Members of the press have rarely tested one, and the car had a reputation for being a little unruly. Peter Monteverdi had been building his own Chrysler engined GT cars in Switzerland since 1967. The Hai of 1970 was Monteverdis' bid for the mid-engined supercar market who's only player at the time was the Lamborghini Miura. Only two are believed to have been sold.

Wow. It looks amazing and it's got a hemi

Monteverdi's are extremely rare, and absolutely stunning vehicles for their time. The Monteverdi Hai 650 F1, from 1992 or 1993, is just gorgeous. Only 5 were made by Peter Monteverdi, and the 650 F1 is one of my favourite cars ever created, eclipsing any McLaren F1 / LM and coming close to the eb110ss smile.gif.
Yes please thumbs_up.gif

The new Hai is even cooler, it's practically an F1 car with a roadcar body slapped on
No thanks
