Uncool, bland japanese econo car

Hello?

Its powered by a Supra engine.

I doubt a Supra falls into the econocar section.

Ice cold if its RWD, cool if its FWD

If it looks like that it's uncool. I wouldn't want to be seen in one.
nismo
I voted cool only because of the rivalry of the Skyline and the Supra tongue.gif

The supra engine has a T in it. I'm not sure myself I think the car is edgy enough to be cool but quirky doesn't sound like cool to me. I need more info.

2ZZ-GE:
1.8L four cylinder, aluminum block and heads, VVTL-i
180bhp
133lb-ft
applications: Celica GT-S, Corolla XRS, Matrix XRS, Vibe GT

2JZ-GTE:
3.0L six cylinder in line, iron block and aluminum heads, some models had VVT-i. Sequential turbochargers and intercooler
320bhp
? lb-ft (i think 273 for some reason)
6 speed manual or 4 speed auto
applications: Supra Turbo. That's it dudes. the 2.5L 1JZ-GTE was found in the Soarer with 280bhp, though.

Totally different engines.

Ah I read that as 2JZ too. 2ZZ pha uncool.
Mr b00st
it's quite cool. I give it a solid "WTF????"
Mr b00st
2ZZ's a great engine in it's applications... including US spec Elise, Elise 111R and S2 Exige.
clarkma5
The 2ZZ is bad in anything that weighs more than 2400 pounds due to a horrible lack of anything resembling torque.
Mr b00st
haha, even the Renesis has more torque. And it doesn't even have cylinders.

133-lb ft is just... sad.
