Leave it to Google to have a great idea, then have horrible execution and fragmentation.

Luckily Apple will rip it off and do it better.

Anyway, this is still 3-5 years from being real.

Lulz, they did their search engine right.

Hell hath frozen over, so yes. lol

This idea is not new... but interesting that someone serious is finally taking it seriously. That said, social networking is such a waste of life, I wish people/companies would get excited about something new.

If and/or when this ever actually happens, I'm going to have to punch a lot of people in the face and tell them to shut the f*ck up because we're in a bookstore/subway/cinema/wherever and it's just not cool talking to your own f*cking glasses in said place.

I think its pretty epic. Considering how augmented reality is already a daily part of my day, its no surprise things are going in this direction.

I'm not sure what to think of this. ... scary man, scary.

Watching porn will be easier.

As we continue to blur the line between science fiction and reality, I find myself more scared than excited. I remember seeing concepts like this in various media back in the day and thought it was really, really cool. Now I'm older and a lot more crotchety and don't want people to be hooked in all the time.

It's a gift. And a curse.

It's times like this that make me happy that I will be alive to see the day that I can watch porn on my glasses.

*Note To Self: Invest heavily in anti-fog lens tech.

I don't really see this leading to an invasion of privacy, or as the continuing march of social media. At least not any further than it is now.

Seems to me like it integrates a bunch of gadgets into something that is more conducive to being used while out and about. I don't think it does anything that a smartphone can't already do; Google Glass is just better incorporated into your person.
Blue Devil
i guess we will seeing the day we get shit pluged into our brains and waiting for the next update for our brains....
OHirtenfelder
It dawned on me today. Most people are too stupid to drive their car while on the phone. Imagine what this will do when Joe Dickface decides to update his social media and invite friends and chat with someone, etc. while driving...chaos.

Oh well.
