Full Version: Senna
Dieselstation Car Forums > Parking Lot > The Car Garage
I had the opportunity to see the documentary film Senna at an advanced screening tonight.

It is brilliant. Go see it.

It is an honest portrayal of one of the greatest drivers of all time.

My wife, who doesn't care at all about racing, really enjoyed it as well.

My heart has never pounded so hard as when they get to the final race weekend.

Opens tomorrow, Friday August 12.
I saw the first showing on the East Coast. It was amazing; much better than I expected. I love his quote about "pure" racing. Such a counter to the bullshit F1 has become.
Damn NP, where ya been?
Argh, why don't they just release it already!?!? Want to see it so bad... :/
Probably going to catch it this week/end in the city. Super pumped, been waiting forever to see it.

With two under two at home, it definitely impacts your free time... smile.gif
Saw it the first week it was released in UK, absolutely brilliant. Didn't realise his rivalry with Prost went so bitter at the end.
I am really looking forward to seeing this!
Liked it a lot. Sad even though you expect the end to be.
It's finally opening in Toronto today, August 19.

...I might just have to go and see it again...
I downloaded a torrent ages ago and watched it. It was pretty awesome.
Good Movie. Though it could of used a bit more punch and exitement which the Top Gear Tribute had.

It was a documentary, didn't need to keep ad revenues up.
I just saw it tonight. Every bit of the movie was incredibly fascinating to me. You develop a true understanding of his addiction to racing and winning, to the point of pushing his body beyond consciousness and pushing the mental boundaries of himself. Very captivating.

A must watch for anyone who wants to catch a glimpse of the greatest racing driver that ever lived.
