Excuse the mess, its all my parents crap. Moving them to my room at school this weekend. I'm thinking of new lugs too.

I'm still deciding if I want to clean them or leave them so they have a little grittyness to them. What would you suggest cleaning them with without ruining hte finish? That tire gunk is pretty good and stuck on there.

Leave the grime. Proof that they were once used in anger.

People go to great lengths to try and replicate a patina. There is no substitute for the real thing.

use a heat gun and some adhesive remover and a cloth with some scrub to it, like a cotton waffle-weave.

Or be a baller, and buy a boar's hair brush and some P21S wheel gel to clean them bitches and then keep the old DD lookin sexy and brake dust free.

Nice! Always wanted to do something like this with a used track tire/rim.

Thanks guys, I'm gonna leave them as they are I think, the patina looks legit.

Here they are next to my couch made from my bro's old 325. I'm thinking a Senna poster would be perfect just above them.
