What do you think? My first impression was "too many slow-speed corners", but the run from turn 1 to turn 11 actually looks pretty high speed. The elevation changes should make it exciting. The rest should be determined by the cambers and how the runoffs, curbs, and walls punish the drivers for mistakes.

Elevation changes....

Hope this turns out good!

Anyone know the exact location? Are there trees or grass and the like? These maps dont mean much to me (though turn one seems a pretty novel idea and turns 9 and 10 look entertaining) without a more earthy image to contrast everything. If you follow me. Im kinda high right now. tongue.gif

Yes, it's in the northeast corner of the intersection of Texas State Route 130 and Farm-To-Market Road 812, which is in the southeast corner of Austin about 10 miles away from Downtown.

I hadn't seen the elevation changes before, that makes it more interesting. I'm a bit concerned that the end of the lap looks to be a bit of a dull sector for overtaking opportunities, maybe into the penultimate or final corners if you can follow your competitor through the slow corners?

Turn 1 does look intriguingly steep, could make the race start a little more tricky.

The elevations map makes the circuit more difficult to read though, as that back straight is very long, but looks shorter, so will make the crests and falls less prominent.

I really hope it's a good circuit for the US.

^A drive straight south sounds fun. More fun than driving to Montreal for the umteenth time.
