Alright guys, it's been almost a month but DSCOTY is finally over. The final DSCOTY overall victors are the Audi R8, Pontiac G8, and Porsche Cayenne. Hope you guys all enjoyed it! See ya next year.
Shouldn't there be like an overall overall? As in a shoot out between the Cayenne, R8, and G8.
tbh I'm not really surprised by the winners... the R8 truly is a marvel of engineering and one of the best looking cars to grace the world in a long time.

Yay Evo! It may have lost to the STI but this is consolation enough! smile.gif
I'm just glad that a Pontiac did so well, but then again I guess I am biased.

Well the Cayenne is Truck/SUV Of The Year, so pitching that against cars is silly. As for the G8 and R8, we all know who would win that.

Basically in 2007 I changed the format to have joint winners for car of the year because it's clear that dieselstation is always going to err on the side of expensive and exotic dream machines. By having a sports and a non-sports, I basically get to force people to pick their money-no-object dream car as well as a more realistic choice, and both are important decisions. So no run-off between these cars, they are the final winners.
