Torrents are always slow at first as you have nothing to upload and that gives you a low priority (clients tend to upload to those that they are downloading from).

MPC is really awesome, so I don't know. Try divx or zoom player (I love zplayer).

It must be a virus because while I was reading this topic, the file started downloading itself and I couldn't manage to stop it...
And then, once finished it started playing itself... these viruses are getting worse and worse
By the way, it played just fin with VLC.
Thank you
Viper for pointing out this dangerous trojan

Azureus Tor...er Virus Protection is protecting me from that file by downloading it into a safe folder on my hard drive for containment.

Hi
Thanks for the reply viper. Didnt work though, so I guess its not codecs. I get the following error:
Error ID = 0xC00D1199, Condition ID = 0x00000000
In fact can't play your TG programs either. Total PITA as I have downloaded a few episodes including the latest 19/12 and now I cant watch them.
Can anybody help?
Thanks

You tried VLC, I have only ever had one video that wouldn't play on VLC, seems to be the best all around client, never need to worry about codecs for it. Give it a shot, search vlc on google

I have had the same problem on my Pc at home as well as my brother's (with xvid, ffdshow and divx installed) which makes me think that there must be something wrong with the file. Is this possible?
I am using azureus, which is a new program to me. Something I have noticed is that although the entire file appears on my pc, when I look at the status screen in Azureus the status is reflected as 0% complete and connection timeout.

That's cause Azureus and some older BT clients allocate the space first and then start downloading. That's normal.
Viper007Bond
Dec 31 2004, 01:23 AM
It allocates so that there is reduced file fragmentation.
