Ridiculous acceleration in that SHO, what a sleeper.

I love the older Taurus SHO's

me and my friend are thinking for our next project to take an 1997 taurus wagon and find a wrecked SHO of that era and pop in the 3.5L V8.

So many different coloured body panels on that Taurus, I love it.

That's super cool! Sleepers are awesome. I'd love to take a ride in that Taurus one day. By the way just out of curiousity, what is the 0-60mph time for the CTS-V?

Cadillac claims 4.6s for 0 to 60mph and a quarter mile of 13.1s.

I think the CTS-V is a lot better looking but SHO's are pretty nice. Some guy I knew had one from '88 I think it was. He has a pic of him smoking the front tires (he did it because he was getting new ones anyawys, not just for the hell of it tongue_orig.gif ). I also saw a CTS-V on my drive down to university, I prefer them so much more to the stock ones, just because I like that mesh grill on the front:

Hate to admit it but I do kinda like the SHO just because it's a sleeper. After all, the look on a kids face in a Civic getting owned by a Tararus has to be priceless. But I'd take a CTS-V over it any day, no questions asked.
