i quickly photoshopped this, and i think the car looks really good with those wheels... what do you guys think?

I never liked the side profile on these cars....that convertible top hump in the back and the pudgy looking front made the left elevation overall very unappealing to me. However, I like the wheels.

There's a few guys on SVTPerformance forums with some wicked bad deep wheels on their Cobras. It's what I would do. However, the STi wheels don't look out of place and I think I'd like the silver over the gold.

they look good, are they off a wrx? for some reason they look like they are

Should American cars have Japanese wheels on them? Discuss.
fallon
if they're better, why not?

hence the title.. "03 Cobra + STi Wheels"

i forgive you though, because on the main page the "STi" part was cut-off the title. smile.gif

i also think that the convertible has an akward profile, but i think the coupes are a different story. The sloping rear window sort of visually takes weight off the front end and evens everything out.

regardless, its still the best mustang ever.

woot.gif Looks pretty good!

I'll post that up at at the STi forum tomorrow, see what they think.

Not really, Japan outsources a lot of manufacturing to other countries. wink.gif

Wheels are wheels. As long as they fit correctly and look good (which is subjective), it doesn't matter what country they come from.

Case in point, the Enkei Win 5-spokes used to be the wheel for 4th gen F-bodies. Seemed like everybody used or wanted them.

The wheels are an improvement, but I would like it better on the coupe. smile.gif
