So I was bored, and seeing Cyclone's excellent p-chop of "his" Mr. Two I decided to work a little on some WRX color concepts that I've tossed around in my head a bit...
And here they are, in alphabetical order:
Coral Red Metallic:

Electric Yellow:

Gunmetal:

Ice Blue:

Pearlescent White:

And here's the original image:

It's really cool that you can change the color and still have all the reflections and darker areas come out correctly. When I try it looks like I tried to draw a car using Microsoft Paint.

I just made a new layer that was 50% opaque in a medium gray color, then erased all the parts of that layer that didn't cover paint, then I just fiddled with the opacity, color balance, contrast, and brightness for each individual picture to get it right.
Um, I like the first one the best.
The yellow I absolutely abhor.

lol I love the yellow!!!
But I do like the coral color....inspired by a Porsche 911 (964) Turbo.

*bows*
But just because I can do this doesn't mean I'm that great at photoshop...in fact, I'm pretty terrible in most respects. But this is relatively simple.

Well, I'm glad to see that gunmetal is not part of the "hideous" list, seeing as how that was the one I really was thinking about the most. The rest were kinda afterthoughts....

heh you did more work that me. I just used the lasso to select everything I wanted painted and used the Satin overlay and chose a color.
