Got to shoot this beautiful car as another perk of the job. Decided to take some time and try to do it right. Unfortunately driving across a dry lake bed leaves you with a VERY VERY dirty car and I was ill equipped to clean the vehicle properly. I have my own reservations about a few small aspects of some of the photos, but overall I spent a lot of time on these and I'm pretty happy with them. Please any comments good/bad or indifferent are encouraged! Hope you like em smile.gif

Martin
I like #4 best mostly because of the sunset. But it looks like you got some halo on the horizon.
#2 is nice aswell.
#3 needs more light on the back and then its a winner, there's a nice DOF that you don't got in 1 and 2.

#3 for me please... smile.gif

# 3 is an instant winner for me.

As Martin says it could use some more light on the rear, but overall the picture is so well executed that it isn't crucial.
Narsh
#3 and #4 are great! I think they need a little more lighting all around. Black cars at sunset are a PITA!
Synesthesia
Wow fantastic location/time of day. I think #4 is the best executed. Could you get rid of the dirt on the side of the car in post? The front tire/wheel in #1 looks really strange.

The halo you're referring to is classic socal smog/low visibility. I've actually grown to like the way it looks. And yes #3 could benefit from a little more light on the rear of the car but unfortunately it was so streaky back there that when I hit it with flash it was impossible to smooth it out and make it look nice in photoshop.

The "dirt" you're referring to in #4 is actually a reflection of the ground.

Wow dude, killer location!

I definitely love 3 & 4.

Ditto on the thing about a bit more light on #3, but it's minor.

#3 is my fave... #4 is really nice but it almost looks too "placed," not sure what it is, might be the tires thumbs_down.gif thumbs_up.gif DS_Naughty2.gif canadian.gif

Several people have commented on that, its just the way the ground looked. You get a partial shadow due to the angle of the sun.

i've stuck you down for a win
