Haha wow. That. Huh. That's pretty drastic, bro. I already chose my wallpaper for this series, though... http://www.notbland.com/wallpaper.htm whistle.gif

I have always wanted three balls, though...

Wow. Unbelievable set man. The foreground in #1 is a bit distracting to me though and is my least favorite of the bunch. The rest are stunning though -- great work

Ah, but I love foregrounds at 1.4; hell, just look at my avatar. smile.gif

Thanks!!

Love the low-sun lighting in the rig shots, works very well with the white car. I really like the interior shots this time around, that interior is so stylish. #6 seems very familiar, have you taken that shot with another car?

I realized only after posting it on my website that it's nearly identical. Windsock Giraffe and all. tongue.gif

Not the best of your work, but a solid addition to the portfolio. Frames #10 and #14 are my favorites. You're developing a nice style for interiors, I look forward to seeing what else you come up with there. A lot of the frames appear to suffer from the same type of over-sharpening which has been mentioned of your work in the past. The first frame has a lot in the foreground and and third (rig) frame is showing some artifacts above the car due to the over-sharpening/burning.
maciek.evo
Very nice pics, man! I like them all, especially #10 smile.gif details are a bit boring compared to the rest, but it's only my taste i guess.
Good idea about desaturating reflections from the car, came out nice...fake but nice smile.gif i guess someone who's not into photography wouldn't notice that smile.gif
how much time have you had to do the shoot?
Martin
I like #7, simple and crispy! Seems like you had som fun taking doing this shoot!

Details are pretty boring when you place them next to the rest, I agree. But I still wanted to show some detail highlights of the bunch, and not go over the top.
Haha, yeah. No sky reflection is pretty obvious to anyone on this forum, but I like the stylized, pure effect I got out of it.
I had about seven hours with the car.

Haha that's not what I was thinking, but that's a very interesting composition. I swear I've seen a side-profile shot of a car with a windsock before... might be a different photographer I guess...

Well, I don't think I've ever shot where windsocks are before, so it may have been someone else. tongue.gif

very noobish, but what's da? is it worth checking?

DA is www.deviantart.com and yeah its worth checking out... =)

All kinds of art, not only photography, many supertalented ppl there but there are alse gazillionz of ppl registered!

Wow dude, I like how you take a non-location & turn it into something to work with.

The car is just hawt, I don't think it took very much to make it look good, but I think most impressive is your location usage. Not just anyone can do that...

Yeah, the locations in this area were... less than awesome. It took me two weeks of physical location scouting and using Google Earth/Street View before I found eight usable locales. I say that many because I'm scheduled to shoot the rest of this client's collection at a later date. But there really is a whole lot of nothing out there. Fourteen trillion pine trees and some dirt roads. Really. So I'm glad I managed to make a decent series with this place. I usually like to incorporate some foreground of some sort into some of the shots, but I couldn't here, because there simply wasn't a foreground to be found anywhere. tongue.gif

But thank you!!

Excellent set Webb. My favorites are...

#3: for the "wow" factor
#5: for the angle
#13: for the cleanliness
#9: because it's just that perfect
Nike SB'd
These look great, I really like what you did with them. The post processing really suits the car. If I had to pick a weak point I'd say the detail shots are a little lackluster compared to the rest of the set. IMO the interior shots are the standouts.

Yeah, the details weren't as exciting as the rest, I'll give you that. But there were a few highlights I wanted to show, so I decided to include them nonetheless.

Understandable. I'll be reworking my sharpening method for my future work, see if I can't tone them down a few notches.

Thanks.

this is brilliant, i love all rig and interior shots, but the tar mat abit over contrast for my taste smile.gif

cheers

Very nice work as always! I really like #3. I like how almost all your shots look midday, usually the time you don't shoot, but you always make it look nice. Also liking the interior shots!

Yeah, the client sorta contact me last moment and that was around 11:00. Hardly ideal for any car, let alone a white one on a stretch of tarmac. tongue.gif

Thanks.

The ones that grab my attention:

#5: That background is nuts, I love the perspective of the car. Everything seems to work together.

#7: Great pose for the car, I could stare at this shot for hours.

#13: I love the way the light follows all the edges that I want to look at and all the important details I should look at.

In a few of the others the lighting looks a little harsh and I want to say a few areas of the photos look a bit blown out, but I'm probably being nit-picky. Amazing work you did here...wow.
Dr. Robot
holy amazing!
how'd you shoot #13, 14 and 15?

Well, this whole set was processed in a semi-high key style, so some of the shots that are out on the tarmac have been intentionally blown out a bit. But I'm glad you enjoy them for the most part. smile.gif

Through a special lighting technique I've developed. A, ah, secret technique... Sorry. sealed.gif

Yes. I figured it was lower resolution with no text or higher resolution with watermark. It was a very specific, personal choice, and I decided to offer higher resolutions to my fans. I've had my work ripped on numerous occasions; the text is a deterrent.

Webb, you should check your prints/posters e-mail smile.gif I've sent you an email, asking for a price on the rear pic.

I like the one with the green wall the best, good stuff

3,5,7,9 are my favourite

great shots btw

I fell in love with the orange gallardo, now this! All your shots are really well done but my favorites are the interior shots. I attempted to try something similar to practice and it proved more difficult than I thought to get it to look right. But I definitely can say that I'm a fan. Can't wait to see your next post.
