Agree or disagree with his policies to your heart's content (I can take some and leave some), Obama's probably one of the most intelligent and down to earth people who's ever been in the oval office, especially in recent history. After that video stopped, he also picked it up with a napkin and threw it away. I mean, c'mon, the leader of the free world is tossing out a dead fly. Something tells me Bush would've made someone else do that for him.

I agree that Obama comes across as a pretty cool guy. But just because someone doesn't have the same incredible charisma doesn't mean that they're any less "down to earth". My uncle (who was vehemently anti-Bush) had the opportunity to have a conversation with the W himself and has said ever since that he was actually a hilarious conversationist and just a cool guy.

I said it many times while Bush was in office...I'd invite him to a BBQ but I don't want him as my president.

I feel like that could be applied to Obama too. Just sayin'.
