It sounds like DVLL is guilty but someone speculated near the end that they might not owe them anyway.
I have to say, I'm impressed with them taking out a 1.5 century long lease. That's something that you don't see everyday. Most companies/ventures don't make it to 100 years....

When I first read about the switch to Donington and about the money Gillett wanted to invest I immediately knew this wasn't going to work. Even though I didn't expect the whole thing to crash so soon.

There's another thread about Donington, btw.

Sure, ok.

It's not like you're part of the community anyway. After all, you only just have 10 posts as of this sarcastic and snarky reply.

Is it any wonder?

I would very strongly argue that the most efficient way of retaining the Grand Prix is to look at the current infrastructure we have in place, which is Silverstone - that's a perfectly suitable venue as we stand today

Damon Hill

they shouldnt of left sliverstone in the first place

Doesn't Damon Hill have a bit of a vested interest in seeing the GP return to Sliverstone? I though that the BRDC, which DH is the prez of, is responsible for running Silverstone, and took a huge hit when F1 left.
