In 2002, F1's most successful car debuted. It immediately won its first race... a tradition and feeling not unknown to its designers, Ferrari, which had been on going since 1999. However, no one could predict the utter domination that the F2002 was about to unleash on the F1 racing world. Winning 14 of the 17 races in the 2002 season and another race in the 2003 season is no small feat. Not since 1988 during the McLaren Prost/Senna domination had a car/driver combo like this been seen. It took Michael Schumacher to his 5th world championship in record time shattering numerous records in the process.
Principal design by Rory Byrne, Ross Brawn, and Paolo Martinelli.
