My first night shoot, so not so good










Not a good interior shot, but the only one I have of my car. The seats look way to blue here. They are really more grey-ish blue. My Step father and I did all of the leather work in the car.

Also, I give it a frozen. Love the color, love the wheels, and the overall look of the car is awesome. Sounds like it's been modded pretty well too. The only thing I don't like is the opening in the hood.

I give it a cool. I just think those A-pillars are the cheesiest thing ever and that colour just does not work inside.

Heh, I didn't notice those, but it's true. Still the interior isn't that bad.

Er, forgot a word. I mean the a-pillar gauges. I hate them in any car they're in.

I gave it a cool. It is a very clean-looking car, the modifications are overall tasteful, and I do love that icy blue metallic paint. Things I don't like so much are the "look at my shiny FMIC" thing you got going (lots of people do that and I always think it's kinda cheesy) and, though the wheels are attractive, there's something about them that look like Pep Boys specials. Can't quite explain it.

Thanks for the comments and votes (either way) everyone. I'm not crazy either about the gauge pod on the A pillar. There are/were plans for 3 other gauges to go in the three stock locations in the center of the dash, so there was really no other place to put them. I thought about doing a custom pod where the stock radio went (moving from the dual DIN to a single), but then the vital info is kind of out of site.

I really need to do new photos of the interior, that one does not do it justice at all. Although I admit that the two to will not be to everyone's taste.

The large opening for the FMIC is not about show at at all. It's about making a reliable 500+ awhp on pump gas and low boost. If you close it all off or block it behind mesh or some thing, you lose lots of cool air to make that power.

At over $700/each for the rims, I can assure you they are not Pep Boy specials. lol I guess they could have been knocked of though.

An open mesh over the FMIC would help, or I would have everything black and/or matte finished as much as possible.

And I think for the wheels, it's just that look of the machined face with many spokes and then painted sides that is a look I see a lot on cheap rims these days.

I think it's a misconception, as you saw above, I quoted a line from the rules which specifically allows your car to be here.

Yeah I don't understand what people are bitching about. The rules specifically allow user's rides (in fact, the line "significantly modified" was not in the original rules as far as I can recall; we originally envisioned the cool wall to be full of user's rides but it never happened).

I've always hated 3000GTs, I guess because they're quite flashy, ugly, and pretty slow. Yours is definitely quick, but the front is still (if not more so) quite ugly. I also despise wheels like that with millions with bolts showing. That said, it's very very quick and it clearly has a lot of love in it. I say it's pretty cool.

The problem with most user rides here is that they're stock. For example, my car's only difference from a stock Mazda3 are the wheels. The Mazda3 was already voted upon in the cool wall (where I somewhat idiotically voted frozen), and posting my car would be worthless. Hence the clause, "significantly modified."

Diesel should post up his tC, even though I realize he is selling it soon (if he hasn't already).

For the amount of shit we give him, he probably wouldn't want to. I'd give him a solid cool though.

He did turn something so insanely uncool into something at least bearable, so it would definitely get a cool in my book.
