That one in the rain is insane. Don't those have bad enough grip at low speeds?
goota
^The Crazy thing about tires is you can make multiple kinds of them. So you can make some that are good at low speed or high speed or a mix of both for rain.

And I bet that BMW F1 driver feels like a douche after breaking that front wing.

The Red Bull was fitted with bespoke rain tires for that event through the public roads.

The way the drivers sit in the cockpit you can't even see the front wing or the curb.

I bet other drivers could do donuts there and not break their front wing. tongue_orig.gif

Isn't it tradition to do donuts when you've just won an F1 race? I always see it, and I've never seen anyone damage the car in the process.

....wtf, what have you been watching? The last time there was a donut at the end of an F1 grand prix was when Raikkonen won in Brazil and his 2007 championship.

The FIA actually fines drivers for doing donuts during a race weekend. They cite it as being "unprofessional."♠

Well then I'm guilty of not watching much F1. I would've sworn I've seen Hamilton do a couple donuts after winning during the '07 season.
