[ ] Porsche 959
[ ] Lancia Stratos
[x] Ford Cosworth RS200
FINALLY got to see a real life Ford Cosworth RS200, and it was at a car meet of all places. There was a huge 400+ car meet in Burbank, and this monster was there. Funny thing is, most people just walked right past it oblivious to what it was in front of them. They were all more interested in the ricers bumping stereos.

Wasn't it the fastest accelerating car in the world for a while?

Is a beautifull car
And for your list, if you lived in Europe it would look like this:
[x] Porsche 959
[x] Lancia Stratos
[x] Ford Cosworth RS200
They were all at a classic carshow a few moths ago here in The Netherlands.

i think there are only three 959s in the US. one is owned by Jerry Seinfeld and i'm not sure of the others. wonderful cars, f-ing balistic for their time, and just crazy now.

And the other one is Paul Allen (this is assuming there really are 3 which I do not know)
There's way more than three in the US now, last I heard.

^I read that there was a company buying them in Europe and federalizing them for the US market...so ya...lots more than 3 now.
If I remember correctly, the original 2 were Bill Gates's and Paul Allen's, and apparently they sat in a customs holding area for many many years before Bill Gates successfully petitioned the government to allow cars like the 959, which have a historical significance, to be imported into the US and driven a bit.

Is it true that he wrote a crash simulator to convince people it was okay to drive?

There is a 959 in Tucson. The car is a lot bigger than you would think it would be.
