You need a better monitor for photoshopping cause I'm sure you wouldn't have left this if you saw it. There are areas in the photo that are whiter than the rest of the background.

I viewed it on my Apple cinema display in the office and noticed that. Dragged it over to my second monitor which is a shitty Acer lcd and everything blended fine.

Open photoshop, click on he color picker and use the dropper to select the background directly in the middle. Then use the dropper on the upper right corner. The majority of the bg is RGB 252/252/252 where the upper right corner is properly white at 255/255/255



This is the areas the look for

Besides that, I love the picture and your other stuff is great too.

lol, thanks Cyclone. It's funny you should mention about monitors, as the one im at now (at work) is a shitty 17" job, but my home one is the Dell 2407WFP-HC, which shows that mistake clearly - I just never got round to fixing it lol!
I did this photo before I got the Dell, so that's why I never saw it well.

What macro were u using? It's kinda got a Tilt-Lens effect, aswell.

Bracken, thanks for the comment. The lens I use is a Nikon 60mm f/2.8. I love that lens, it can give some amazing detail!

Took this some time back whilst fiddling with my new found hobby (only been a year into photography). Focus here is 1 of 3 dogs I have at home. This mini pinscher is a devil. Small puny fella with a ballsy character. Likes to snatch food from the shepperd there.

First try at Lightpainting:

My firtst attempt at flash photography.

I already had a 430 EX flash and this week I added a SB-24 and a SB28 wich I bought second hand. Yesterday I did a test setup with my remote triggers. (only 2, next week I will get 2 extra) My car was not clean but I couldnt wait and wanted to get started with this. But it was a bit more difficult than expected and I really have to practice from now on. This is something I really want to learn!

C and C is welcome ofcourse, I really hope you guys can help me a bit to improve my flash photography
