QUOTE
(from DaimlerChrysler Press Release) With 85 more horses under the hood, the momentum continues for the Chrysler 300 and its legendary HEMI® engine. Today, the Chrysler Group revealed the 425-horsepower 2005 Chrysler 300C SRT-8, which arrives in showrooms next spring.

"With a nearly 50 percent take rate, the HEMI is a critical ingredient to the success of the Chrysler 300," said Dan Knott, Director - Street and Racing Technology (SRT). "With the new 2005 Chrysler 300C SRT-8, we are now adding even more horsepower to the HEMI and even more performance to the Chrysler 300C"

Preliminary performance targets for the 300C SRT-8 are 0-60 mph in the low 5-second range and quarter-mile time in the high 13-second range.

I don't know why but dispite all this cars flaws I find it undeniably cool, borderline subzero.
mung35
It's fast but can it corner?
Phix
No thanks... I'd rather a Pontiac GTO.

im sure ill get shunned for this.... but i actually like those all black, tinted, dropped, mesh grill, big wheels... blush.gif its got that mafia look

Very cool, borderline frozen. Only reason it isn't is because how much cooler the Charger SRT-8 in black is. Very good example of a bad car that's cool.

Stop stealing my thoughts Clark.

Yes, it can corner. The SRT has some pretty hefty sway bars. I have a 300 Touring without the sway bars and that car is one of the flattest handling cars I've owned... right on par with my old Trans Am. That thing was on rails.

As cool as it gets.

Frozen for mafia attitude and sleeper appeal all rolled into one.
dukenukem
Frozen!

feels kinda un-refined... uncool

[German underpinnings] + [A big ol' American V8] = Frozen.
moe
Mafia-style gets this car a cool.

pretty cool~~great car..

Uncool...I don't think it pulls off the mafia looks as well as everyone says. I think the general shape works well enough, but all the details scream cheesey, crappy, plastic, American crap.
