This car was introduced at the SEMA Auto Show in 1999 and debuted a year later. This S/R package added a stiffer suspension, more horsepower, rear disc brakes a strong clutch with a short throw 5-speed manual transmission, and better air system. In 2003 the car was given some minor redesigns along with the entire ZX2 range but was killed that same year because ford hates having performance cars that may subtract from the sale of the mustang. Ford's final limited production count was 2,110 units in the few years this car sold.
