This guy is actually a cab driver who was waiting in the lobby at the BBC studio to apply for a job. They yanked him out of the lobby, mistakenly thinking he was a scheduled "computer expert" guest that was to appear on the air:

A live interview with Guy Kewney, computer expert, about the Apple Computer vs Apple Corps legal case.

Haha, that was quality! No justice if he doesn't get a job!

maybe the job was for "Fake Expert" and he figured it was part of the interview.

Ahahah that's fucking gold .. Good job, BBC.
edit: Also, I read that there was another interview along the same lines on BBC, hosted on YouTube, but was taken off because it was "reproduced without the rights from BBC."

Apparently he was waiting for his interview, he was a cab driver waiting for the guy, so when someone said his name (Guy Kewney) he put his hand up or whatever and they dragged him in. 2 things I find wrong with that:
1) I haven't seen a cab driver dressed that smart in London before.
2) Why was he there that early? Obviously the real Guy hadn't even started the interview yet.
Although he is dressed smarter than average, it's also not interview standard.

The guy they interviewed by accident was going for a job interview at the BBC

I thought that was more likely.
