Seen it before. tongue_orig.gif

And it may be the world's fastest semi at the quarter mile, but it's not the fastest semi. That's held by a Freightliner (my dad works for them). It runs around at the salt flats. My dad saw it drag race and... wow.

And then there's the rally racing trucks for Pike's Peak (I sorta know one of the guys who built this truck):

And the one with two rear axles (Freightliner wanted one to look like a normal Freightliner). The rear axles just trails along though (no drive).

I'm surprised that no one's mentioned about Shockwave!

The truck with two jet engines mounted on the back of it......

There's a few with three, but they aren't as fast as these actually. (Ever seen the cars race jet planes?)

Those are more gpm rather than mpg...Well almost.
RedLine
I seen one of those jet-semi's race a plane, it lost in the end, but most of the drag it was winning.

Those things only barely resemble semis used for actual hauling.

that last dual axel one is pretty close, i imagine they dont use regular ones because they weigh more and have all of those tiny gears for getting to speed with heavy ass loads
