...I just don't like mercedes. THey have the totally WRONG philosophy.

Their interiors are poorly designed, the cars themselves are badly built inside and out, the engines are all power but the cars themselves are too heavy and lazily engineered to be good handlers. Plus, there is the almost complete lack of manual transmissions in mercedes. (the SLK350 and various C-classes are available with them, but out of a model lineup made up of dozens of models and their variations, that's just pitiful).

So, yeah, I hate mercedes, they suck.

Well, a $90k merc is probably a great drive compared to the stuff I drive regularly, but compare THAT merc to a comparable BMW, Audi, even Porsche or Aston Martin...and I will bet that the Merc will be at the bottom of my list of cars to drive.

I can compare MERC. to BMW and AUDI , knowing it will win, but i can't compare it to PORSHE or ASTON coz i know it will be butt kicked.

i doubt that this could handle better than the M5 or the RS6(not to mention the upcoming one). But this is a tuner and will cost BIG BUCKS, much much more than the original sticker price for the CLS55 AMG

I'd take the CLS55 over the M5. No fucking doubt... the CLS is gorgeous while the 5 looks like the shit I took this morning... actually my shit looks better.

What arnge is not understanding is that he is comparing a HEAVILY MODIFIED Mercades to an M5. I still think the stock M5 is much better. Now, when A german tuner modifies the hell out of the M5, bye bye mercades...... Yet again.

Umm, "M power'' is a branch of BMW. So if you wanted to make it fair, You would put the CLS AMG against the m5. And the M5 would still kick the Mercedes' ass anyways.

Lets see it run a low 8 at the Ring, then maybe we might agree that it's faster. I even doubt that it will beat the M5 in a straight line. But kick the M5s ass? Sure...

The M5 is major league fast - not "fast for a sedan" or "fast for a 4-door" - it's full on Gallardo and 911 turbo fast. And even if it was'nt massively fast, it's reallty nice to drive, hides its weight well, comfortable, beautiful interior, wonderful engine note. I'd love it even if it only had half of 500hp.

"M" from BMW is not a tuner.. it's a in house tuner for BMW, just like AMG for Mercedes Benz

Yeah, idiot is right, M is a sub-company of BMW, just like AMG, they're considered to be regular standard cars. They're sold directly from the manufacturer so are therefore sub-companies. Now a company Hamann or Carlsson are totally different, they are not sold as cars directly from the dealerships.

no, see the car that is in this picture is a Carlsson, not an AMG. so it will cost MUCH more than the AMG will.

You buy the products online or through a certified dealer. Hard to come buy unless you live in a big city or want to wait a while for you parts.
