Yeah I watched it; it's cool, but lacking without the road view as well.

Don't worry. Most people I assume when they buy cars they want to fix it up or buy soem nice rims and rubber for them. Me? When I get my car I'm gonna invest in camera mounts and... cameras. One pedal view, one gauges view, one bumper view, and one inside-centre view. Ok, 4 cameras. I love watching myself or others drive and then analyizing what they do or I do and try to improve/learn whatever technique they use and mold it into my own styling.

Heel-toe is still somewhat difficult for me. I can almost never heel-toe without jerking the car a litle bit. I guess it's my foot arrangement.

What is heel-toe? I've driven a manual like once, so I don't really know much beyond the basics.

Driving a manual without knowing how to heel & toe in a proficient manner is a huuuuuuuuuuuuuge obstacle to your driving enjoyment.

Any of you who don't know how would be wise to master the technique.

Heel and toe? You should try it in my Polo - to quote a fellow Polo GTi owner:

"You can't do heel & toe in the Polo GTi anyway, due to the way drive by wire works.

As a "Safety Feature" the VAG group of companies decided that if the accelerator and brake were pressed at the same time, the "user's" foot had obviously slipped when braking, so to help the poor "user" out, they thought it'd be a good idea for the ECU to cut the throttle when this happens!"

seriously.......i think i have never heard anyone got in to accident because they have press both throttle and brake........
