Obviously I think it should be beyond frozen, 0 degrees on the Kelvin scale I believe, where all molecules stop moving because they are so cold. But then that doesn't really matter does it? What matters is what you think. SO VOTE AWAY!

I will make my case for it though: The TR6 is a driver's car, a pure roadster. No more, no less. If you get hung up on air condition and all the little gizmos and gadgets, then this isn't the car for you. But if you're a driver, and want a car just for the thrill of driving and taking bends, then this is a fantastic machine. The TR6 is very torquey in stock form, and has a decent amount of power. Certainly more than most ricebox Civics and other hatchbacks. Also, the engine is cheaply moddable. I priced different stage kits you can get (new cam, crank, pistons, rods, etc. No forced induction), and a stage 2 kit will give 183hp, which is a hell of a lot for a 2300lb car, and costs about $4400. A full on race engine will put out nearly 275 hp. With a few simple mods, te straight six in the TR6 will turn from a torquey block of iron into a serious beast: a Porsche eater. And that's not even counting the looks. I mean, it just doesn't get any better than that.

Here's my car as an example:

It's merely cool...the British may have invented the roadster but I don't think they ever really got it right.

British roadsters are just...short on engineering, long on quirkyness. They're more charming than what the germans or japanese have made, but they aren't as good.

And I don't care too much about "charming", myself. I think of "charming" and I think of a house with hearts in the shutters.

That's half the fun of it to me. German cars may be made better, but they are much more complicated. Anything on this car I can take off, take apart, fix, and then put back together myself. They have much more character than a German car too. With an old BMW or Merc or Porsche, it's unlikely that anyone will go "Oooo, look at that!" just because they don't stand out, expecially new German cars. TRs have character, which is something that just about every other brand of automobile lacks.

Done.

700 pixels wide would be even better... wink.gif

But it gets a cool from me. An inexpensive roadster that offers a lot of fun and unique British character.

You must have a small resolution. Sorry I don't feel like resizing them again. Thanks for the vote though.

I have 1024x768, it ain't no 1600x1200 but hardly small. Oh well...

Personally I am looking forward to seeing dozens of TR6s in a couple of weeks at our local British Car Day.

WHO DARE VOTE UNCOOL?! I SHALL CUT THEIR THROAT!

No, just kidding. I don't know who voted uncool. I respect your opinion, but I don't really know why you'd vote uncool (though I'd be interested in hearing). And I'm not just saying that because it's my car. I loved TRs before I ever had one, and since I first went to our British Car show when I was like 9, and it's been the car I've wanted since then.
