The cars in the Top Gear Forza 4 car pack are:

2012 Hennessey Venom GT, 1977 AMC Pacer X, 2011 Ford Transit SuperSportVan, 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, 1966 Lotus Cortina, 1992 Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 and 2012 Smart Fortwo. The package is rounded out with the 1990 Subaru Legacy RS, 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 and the 1965 Austin-Healey 3000 MkIII.

I don't really understand what this has to do with Top Gear. Feels like a random list, with a marketable name attached.

Were they picked by Top Gear? They did a similar thing on Forza 3 with Jalopnik.

Edit: Taken from the TG website

QUOTE
The inclusion in Forza Motorsport 4 of our Top Gear track, just off the A3 in a quiet corner of Surrey, means that the TG office are now regularly outclassed online on what should be home turf. Often by 12-year-olds.

This wouldn't do. So we've decided to put together our own downloadable pack of cars to give us an edge (for at least 30 minutes until you all get used to them).

Click on for the full list, and click that little blue Facebook thumb on your favourite so we know if we've made the right choices.

The pack will cost you 560 Microsoft Points (4.80 in real money), and will be available from May 1. See you online...

It kinda does.

I think TG could have done a much better job of creating a list of cars people might actually want to drive in Forza. Instead this comes off as more of a bad joke. The only one I could see people lusting over is the Venom.

I think the Wrangler could be fun or the Transit van. But I don't have a premium xbox account and usually don't buy any of the extra content. Oh and I like boring American cars.

I play Forza quite a bit, and I was excited for 4, but what pissed me off more than anything is that there were two new tracks.

Fuck the cars, I want track downloads. Spa for a damned start.

Lime Rock. The back hill is scarier than it looks.

Was chatting with some other players in a lobby yesterday about considering the fact that tere are a number of rallycars and offroad vehicles, there should be at least one or two loose surface courses.

Also, if any of you guys play, add me on XBL. You know the nick. smile.gif I suck for te most part, but I like playing with clean racers, and would be cool to BS wth you guys in voice.
