haha nice description but it wasn't very funny you could have just said douche .. Honesltly I had no idea what that whole sign meant, someone just said put that in the windsheild of the car for proof so I did it. It really wasn't aimed toward you at all, I just thought thats maybe what people did. Calm down.

Why can't some of you pepole just ecept that the car is mine? And just because I have this car means I can't be on a forum? That makes no sense at all. And for one I don't hang out with "rich pepole" all day and its not polite to talk about money especially someone eles. Im not a filthy rich bastard who lives in a gigantic house on a hill, infact I'm far from it. So can we get over that please.
And tony two shoes thanks for understanding smile.gif

Don't worry too much about people instantly judging you. This is the internet after all, they don't care who's behind the screen, just what's presented in front of them. I can almost garountee that you meet any of these guys face to face and they'd be all bark and no bite, maybe even non-confrontational.

I personally LOVE your car, if it's yours or not. I also do believe that you don't need to be rich to own one aswell, and not all people who own Lambos and Ferraris are mansion-on-the-hill-owning self-centered douches. I personally LOVE the F430, and I'm sure you have a blast in it. Black looks great on it, and the interior looks extra luxurious. I'm sure that car was hard-earned and you take great care of it. Kudos to you for posting up some awesome pics. Favor: can you post high-res pics too?

Anyway, welcome to the forum, and don't take things too personally. People will warm up to you more when you post more and let them get to know you a little better.

How can you own a Ferrari without gobs of money? I know you don't have to be a millionaire, but being quite wealthy is probably the only way someone could afford a new Ferrari. They cost over 3 times what most people earn in a year. If you can afford a Ferrari - you're rich.

Financing. I found a F355 for $2100 a month. I could afford that if I really wanted to

Tis true...a lot of people can actually afford one I'm sure, but they would most likley have to sacrifice plenty of extra money on the fixes, maintenance, and of course, insurance (Which is why most people don't go right ahead and take out that three-figure loan).

Yea true, but I'm a huge shoe collector and have been since High School. I love BAPE shoes because of their exclusiveness, and my company is located a street down from 91 greene street where the store is. I'm also really into Nike SB Dunks. I'm a kid at heart.

Wait...someone most likely already noticed this, but uhh...wtf?

Detective KrazyKohla on the case. Would be more interesting if his company was on 7 Greene Street.

Surely someone who owns such a car and owns a company wouldn't mind saying what the name of it is. I notice he's completely avoiding that. I don't mind saying what company I work for, Mobile Media Enterprises. In fact I could but wrong but I'm mostly sure anyone who owns their own company would want the name out there.

True, but thats still over $25k a year which is a lot of money for a car for a year. My point is that say the average income for the US is $75k a year, thats still 1/3 of someones annual salary, which is a shitload of money to put just towards their car for a year. I doubt many people own Ferraris who don't make a good chunk of change for a living.

^ Hexagon, you should patent that shift patern. Then sell it to VW/BMW/M-B for a commemerative/aniversary edition car. Of course, that would be the slowest shifting car ever. biggrin.gif

Here's some math for you. I make around $19,240 a year and bought a car that cost just under $26K. If I would have had no down payment on the car, I would have paid around $5,155/year (without interest) for 5 years, which would be around 27% of my yearly salary going toward my car. My point is, if you really want a car like a Ferrari on a $75k a year salary, it's entirely possible. Now on the other hand, I think I'd most likely not get one in that situation unless I was completely devoted to the cost of maintaining a Ferrari aswell. Which would explain why my down payment was close to $10K and I'm paying off an interest-free loan which helps me save the extra money for the maintanence cost, even though my salary wouldn't normally be able to afford it. In other words, you don't have to be rich to own a Ferrari, but it helps if you are. =p
