A thousand pardons for the redo, but I neglected the Dodge Caliber SRT-4 the first time around. Though none of us would bet on it winning, it deserves its chance in the competition like everything else, hence a redo. Thanks for your understanding.

I voted for the Volvo again. It's just so sexy, and that interior is awesome. Though a part of me seriously wanted to vote for the Calibur. I get this feeling that no one else will vote for it despite the fact that it's not really a bad car at all.

I heart.gif the Volvo, looks and performance potential, the price being the only negative factor. It is the most expensive of the bunch, but I don't mind the price.

Again, MS3 takes the cake for me. The Civic Si sedan would take honors if the MS3 wasn't on the list. The rest can diaf.

I don't know enough about the C30... and I'm not even sure it's coming out for '07, so....

As for the MS3... nice car. But I refuse to vote for any car that doesn't do what I WANT it to WHEN I want it to. Yes, I know the ECU senses steering angle and therefore prevents full throttle to prevent torque steer, but that's not the way to do things, IMO. If I want to pull into the weeds, LET me. That much power through a FWD car just doesn't make much sense to me, anyway.

And since the SRT-4 has now entered the fray, let me just say this: it might be the ugliest car since the Aztek! I don't care if it has 300hp... it's still FWD, big fucking deal. I'm not one to normally care about looks of cars if they offer performance, but it's one thing to date an average looking girl because of great personality, and it's another thing to want to date woman with facial hair and an adam's apple. Gross.

Correct, the sedan model is new for 07. The coupe started out as an 06 model.

For this section, I'm picking the Mazdaspeed 3.

The new Caliber SRT4 is just ugly. Ugly ugly ugly ugly. I don't care if it could cure aids or end world hunger, it's ugly as hell and it looks like an SUV. If looks like if you tried to take a turn too fast with it, it'd flip end over end over end. They obviously know it's ugly as hell with their commercials... "Oh Caliber....Caliber..Caliber?..." RARRRR IM GONNA KILL YOU LITTLE PIGGY. Maybe the Caliber SRT4 could slightly redeem itself if it had the AWD option that the normal calibers have but guess what, it doesnt. Dodge, you suck.

The Civic Si, the exterior is super sexy but I'm still not feeling their new interior design. I'm not sure what Honda's idea with the new Civic interior was. Were they trying to make people believe they were piloting space ships? I know the car is pretty capable and in this lot it's probably one of the better performing cars but because of the interior I'm just not feelin it. Sorry Honda.

Minicooper S. While I love Cooper's, I've heard so many negative things about reliablity. So it wouldn't be my pick.

Volvo C30 T5... From the front and side, it's a good looking car. Then we look at the rear and everything falls apart. In a Clarkson voice I'm thinking to myself "Oh dear...". No matter how fast they made this car or how exciting they tried to make it nothing would ever change the fact that Volvo is one of the most boring car manufacturers ever. Who are they trying to appeal to with this car? No boy racer would be proud to say "I drive a Volvo!"

So my pick is the Mazdaspeed3. It has everything, it's a sexy looking car, it's practical (If you car about that) and it has power and a damn nice looking interior too. The only thing that'd make me want one even more is if it were AWD.
