I'm planning to buy a new car.
I've got two cars i would buy:
The Peugeot 306 gti-6 and the Renault Clio 2.0 16v Williams.

The 306 has 167bhp and the Clio 150 but the 306 is heavier.
306 is almost 1200kg and the Clio 990kg

I like the looks of the clio but i also want to do some engine stuff and get a maxi bodykit.
The 306 maxi:

And the Clio maxi (without the lights)

There is a 3.0 V6 engine transplant available for the 306
There's a turboconversion kit available for the clio
When it comes to tuning, i find more things for the clio but the 306 looks a bit meaner with the kit on.
So, what do you guys think?
Opinions please smile.gif

The 306 GTI-6 is from 1999 and costs 7.950 euro
0 - 100 km/h in 8,8 seconds (my GTti is faster, lol)
The Clio is from 91 and costs 4000 euro
Also in the 8 second range.

Engineswap for the 306 will cost approx 4000 pounds.
Turbokit for the clio approx 3000

Probably some rust on the clio's arches but those will be replaced by the kit anyway.

get the clio .. then if you want to get the turbo kit; just be mindful of the excess heat.

Yep, it will be in a strange place but isolating it should help a bit.
Not sure how to get the piping for the intercooler done right though.

I was also thinking about the renault 5 turbo 2 but those are hard to find and expensive.
Same story with the Corolla AE86

Lol, i saw a R5 GT turbo with a Volvo turbo engine once.
Totally forgot that Renault supplied those engines.
Or was it Volvo supplying Renault?
Ah, it's late, lol
