taken from VWVortex. If this is the base model.. then DAMN.. what a deal. looks absolutely beautiful.

QUOTE(zerind)
Went and drove the A3 at Millennium Audi yesterday and had a blast. The car really feels like a more grown up, refined and fun to drive GTI..which is exactly what I want in a car.  Even though its front wheel drive, it is an absolute riot to drive.  We did some very hard cornering exercises and really got the car at its limits.  Even with the non-sport suspension, the car handled better than any MK4 GTI I've ever driven, including my own Anniversary car.  A sway bar and some better tires would really make this car a LOT more fun.  The 6 speed in this car had long throws, and the clutch pickup was very strange feeling compared to any other VAG car I've driven.  I've ordered mine with DSG.

This particular model was a BASE BASE BASE BASE ZERO option car. While I'm not a fan of the beige cloth, the black cloth in the base model wouldn't be too bad, especially for $25k. Not to mention the paid maintenence as part of the Audi Advantage.  Awesome deal!

BTW, Sorry about the stupid photo bug on the images, I forgot my batch resize had that in the action left over from another set I was doing! Oh well.

Looks boring IMO, the previous one looked a lot better... this is like an Avant but without the coolness of the Avant, it's weird.

the A3 is pretty excellent though, i think it looks better than the latest A4, but because of the dorky tail lights.

I fucking love this car!

it needs the wheels the one I saw at the autoshow, and black leather.

But it's perfect for me, perfect size, looks, interior... too bad it'll be too expensive for what it is

a little Caractere bodykit makes it look so mean!!! thumbs_up.gif

I really like how this car looks. There's an older model A3 at my school that I see a lot, I wouldnt mind having one.

Probably one of the nicest interiors offered at any price. So ergonomically correct and aesthetically pleasing. Bravo Audi!

seems a little too conservative. i like it, but if i cover up the front and back in profile view, or most of the back in rear 3/4 view, it looks almost exactly like the Jetta wagon, which is not bad, just wish it was more distinctive. needs a little less wheelwell gap, i think. really like the interior, except the vents coming out of such a flat, open expanse of front dashboard look so stuck on. could be more integrated.

Hehe, I know the Car Lounge topic you took that from...I posted on the second and third page wink.gif

Anyway, the interior really impressed me (apart from the Leather-less steering wheel...seriously, what's up with that?). I normally don't like beige AT ALL but I was like "WOW that looks great, and that cloth is top-notch".

The car looks good, but I think it needs the sport package to lower it down and, for god's sake, I just hate those wheels...always have. And as much as some people have unfed over the color of this black example, I don't think black is a very good color for the A3 at all.

But I'm intrigued, to say the least. Put on the sport package, with a black interior with aluminum trim and a nicer exterior color (metallic gray? Bright blue?) and I'll be all ovah dat shit biggrin.gif
