Holy fucking shit. I envy Asia and Europe, particularly their networking.

um flaw... anyone with 10/100/1000 ethernet and a 10/100/1000 router or hub can run those speeds... this isn't showing internet connection speed.

Um WardLarson, the point is that places like Sweden and the Netherlands, and a few Asian countries, are starting to utilize 1gbit connections globally, not just locally on their immediate lan network. Meanwhile, the only places that see over 25mbits in the US are universities, and the occasional FIOS customer.

Um Flaw, internet connections have little to do with the image or his file server. This is a screen cap of task manager and it's showing a 1 gigabit LAN connection. I agree that the US sucks at internet but this isn't what the topic's about.

Right. I saw the specs, drooled for a bit, and then the gbit thing caught my attention, so I decided to comment about it. If you knew Andy's past specs, these would not come as a surprise as he's mentioned upgrading bigtime. Your response turned it into this, not mine.

Sorry Andy biggrin.gif Post pics of the McLaren please :DDD

Nice setup smile.gif

I've got a raid 1 setup over here on my file server with 2x 200GB drives and an external 500gb WD that gets tossed in the safe deposit at the bank.

Nice, if I had 3ware money I too would be in true RAID5 heaven. Alas, I only bought a lonely Promise 4port SATA controller to go along with my 4x 320GBs in RAID5. :| Need more HD space now.
