As for me, I'm placing my money on the Lexus ES330:

You get all the boring mechanicals of a Toyota Camry wrapped in an even more vanilla shell and with even more features-for-the-elderly thrown in. I can't think of anything that is more boring...hell, even Buicks and pre-Art and Science Cadillacs have those good 'ol American flaws to keep them a little interesting. This Lexus is engineered perfectly to be boring.

Thoughts? Other ideas?

Honestly, I find the entire Mercedes lineup minus the SLK350 to be completely uninspiring and yawn-worthy. There's no soul left in that company, the SLR is the crowning proof.

Actually, you beat me to it. Lexus ES330. Worse than Buicks. At least the LaCrosse has the CSX model, and the Lucerne has an optional V8. And both are more interesting to look at then the ES330 in my opinion.

I'd like to give an honorable mention to the Toyota Avalon.

I like the new Cadillacs minus the DTS and Escalade.

The CLS, new S-class, SL? And the SLR is badass too...even if it is autotragic...Mercedes makes the best autos in the business. Oh, and the G-class...not the new one...the bank vault.

I like the Avalon, it at least looks good, inside and out.

The ES 330 is a good candidate, but I'm going to give it to either the Corolla or the Chevy Malibu.

Toyota Avalon. My grandparents have one...it makes me die a little on the inside when I drive or ride in it. Makes the Deville they had before it seem like a Ferrari.

Mercedes C class.

I dont care that there is an AMG version...it has a bland interior...a bland exterior, and when ever I see one driving on the road, the first thing i think to my self is "there goes someone with no personality".

I really like its interior and exterior. Never sat in it, so I can't comment on the quality of the materials, but I really like how it looks. It's certainly classier than the daring-but-ugly E90 3-series.

Plus, it's a RWD compact sport sedan with 200+hp and a manual transmission. It can't be THAT boring.

My friend has an '06 C230 with the sport package, it's not a completely horrible car. The interior is OK at night, and it handles respectably. Has a lot of torque down low for a 4 banger too, still slow though.

rofl, so it's only 'OK' when you can't see the interior at all? Haha.

Personally I think the Ford Taurus is the most boring car ever.

They are super boring to drive too, nothing really sticks out, just a nice blend of blandness.

Miltov...its a sedan with out style...and like I said...they are driven by broing people who are in a constant state of denial about not doing the smart thing by buying a 3 Series.

...and I would re-emphasize that the car is stylish inside and out, in my opinion. Certainly better looking inside and out than the E90 3-series.

I'm with Mitlov, I actually like the C-class. The interior is understated and classy, and the exterior is pretty damned good looking, especially with the right rims.

Oh and I change my nomination for most boring car to the Mitsubishi Lancer.

I drove one a couple days ago, and I've never driven anything so sterile in my life. The interior is so bland it makes me want to puke. The exterior looks like someone "tried" to fix the blandness but it didn't quite work out.
