Shouldn't this thread be entitled "2007 Infiniti G35 sedan"?

Anyway, I prefer the previous generation. I don't like the BMW-esque headlights. And the extremely curvy body makes me think M-B. The previous generation was much more striking.

Still nicer looking than an E90 3-series, though.

The lights are more S-Class esque than any BMWs

Wooonky hood tard.gif

Don't care for the Avalon-esque backend or insubstantial wheels, either. And the mirrors look kinda stupid too.

I must be going crazy...I like the Bangle back as applied here. Also like the muscular hood...the side mirrors are horrid though.

For what it's worth, I think they look good in general. Even the FX doesn't bother me anymore. I dislike them for other reasons, all of them personal, so I'm still apt to reccomend Infinitis to people who ask for car advice from me!

Wow, how did they fuck this up? All they needed to do was put 2007 in front of the current model, and I'd be happy. But no, they have to add hideously pronounced hoodlines and rounded bumpers galore. FUCK.

It's too curvaceous. Looks like it came from Hyundai and not Infiniti.

Ugh...

They messed with a good design

If it 'aint broke - don't fix it!

Hope they don't pull the same shenanigans with the 2-door.

I just saw one of these drive past my house. I don't see the point in making it look worse than the previous model. Cars usually don't do that... I guess I like the rims though, and the front isn't as awful as the back.

Wow you're right, according to the Infinity website it's not going to be released until this fall. Too bad I didn't take a picture; there's no doubt in my mind that what I saw was the new G35. No idea how someone was driving it though! huh.gif

yeh, i definitely think that way. once again, i can't begin to fathom why luxury auto makers have this need to make their sedans look boring! motion to bring back the old G35!
