So remember the epic NSX film? Well, Nissan of Europe commissioned a promotional film about the GT-R by the same guys. The VO artist's awkward English accent is a bit off, but other than that, I can really, really relate to this.

Love it.

Format 67 has some of the best videos I've seen. Some of the cars are kinda iffy but the post production alone is fantastic

God, that car doesnt have a good angle does it? Severely random place and size to have the glamor LED's too.
I'd rather have his suit collection.

Really? You can relate to that? All I got was a lot of bad music, some half-assed narration by someone who clearly isn't an English speaker (not the accent, but how he's never actually saying anything i.e. "I really have to play it hard... and be tough..." WTF is that supposed to mean? And what does that have to do with a car?) and a GT-R driving around. It looked like a really bad art film entry for sundance. Granted the footage and editing is great, but my god what in the hell was he on about lol. They took an infamous Steve McQueen quote that's all of five seconds and tried to stretch it into an 8 minute film.

^ I can relate to the concept of the video, not the actual crap. You know, the idea that work actually sucks, but it really doesn't matter because I've got a badass car that makes me smile when I do the most mundane of tasks in it.

There's a bunch more at the Chrysler YouTube channel. They're doing a great job of extending this campaign.

Wow, you have to check out the interactive film for the Range Rover Evoque. I spent at least an hour messing around on this.

Anyone know the part at 0:27? Is it a rotary engine part?

Im not sure about Mazda, but it should be similar to this. On a Mercedes 722.5 transmission, it sits behind the front pump, and is part of clutch pack b1. It appears to be some kind of accumulator or shock damper.

I think I've become a bit a fanboi of the whole "Imported from Detroit" campaign.

^ I think Mitlov put that up in the VAG ads thread. I love the simplicity of the idea.
