Hey guys.

I shot a Virage the other day. These were some test shots for a 'new' technique I'm trying. LEt me know what you guys think. I'd really appreciate the input.

2

In the first one the only real processing I did is add the fake frame and do the colours a little.

2nd one...just did the colours and that 'light leak' on the left.

What do you guys notice about the images? Any ideas as to what I did with these?

Thanks again.

Later

Oliver

Haha. Well spotted!

I read about this the other day, and the guy uses it for portraits and weddings, so I figured why not try and apply it to cars as well. I quite like the effect it gives me.

this lol. Just not for me I suppose. The Brenizer method seems... out of place here?, though I do like the way the car looks in the second one

the brenzier method is very interesting! I just feel like it would make processing/shooting time increase exponentially, especially if one can't fit the whole subject into a single frame (movement etc). very nice job on the shots; i like the vintage feel and the DOF. the borders make me think of instagram tho haha

So thats what you did! I couldn't tell from the tiny pic on my phone. Looks much better in hi-res. I really like the effect though.
