Volvo didn't. Leif Tufvesson (former Volvo employee who had worked in their prototype shop in Gothenburg) built it in his garage, construction beginning in '98. It was displayed at this year's SEMA show.

As for the Prowler, it's a poseur mobile for wannabe hot rodders.

the Panoz Roadster is a much better alternative if you must have a semi open wheel weird car.



but really I would rather spend the money on something like a lotus 7...
